Thank you for the replies to my first message. Yes, drawing is THE most
important element in learning to be an animator. They will only go as far
as their drawing ability allows...especially the Classic (hand-drawn) AND
Computer Animation.
Some colleges sell the hardware/software aspects of their programs. This is
a disservice to students. In reality, the first thing the studios check is
the observation drawing in a portfolio. If the drawing is not terrific -
they won't even look at the reel.
