I remember readin the Nicolaides book, Natural Way to Draw ( I think) an
exercise done at Art Students League in New York City where blind students
would follow contour of 3D pieces and draw what they felt. We call blind
contour drawings that students do inside paper bags without peeking a way of
training their senses. It should work with blind students as well just using
touch.
