Although it may be very difficult, try to go along with the expectations of
your administration. Plan lessons that will fit in with all these changes.
For example, there are probably enough art projects to carry you to the end
of the school year which require minimum materials: pencil, paper, crayons,
scissors, markers, etc. Use your imagination and not only will your work
load be greatly reduced, your students will learn what it means to be truly
