I have done alot of successful marbling w/ hs students. I use methyl
cellulouse (follow the directions exactly!) to float the colors. I use
products from a company called Pro-Dye in Mass. The right type of paper is
very imporatnt especially if it is not treated first. I use a good quality
printing paper that is not too smooth. Also some types of construction paper
can work well. It can be tricky but is worth the effort. I use it for book
arts. Good luck!
