RE: displaying art work and THE PORFOLIO PROJECT

It is important: But Do you display all works? or do you select for a
curated show? How about the kids curate thier own show? Here they can
learn about evauluation:

Have a lottery! with secret ballots
three slips of different colored paper
line up artworks in hall and have groups of kids go out and deposit the
slips of paper behind the artworks for thier vote of 1st, 2nd,and third
best of show. and ! for honorable mention: Or design display awards for
the objectives of the lesson>

There is a great program being started
on portfolio assessment. The call it the portfilio project.
It works similar to the NYSMA preformences.
