Here is the basic recipe, finally!
1 part cement
1 part sand
1 to 3 parts vermiculite and/or other aggregat
add water until all is throughly mixed and can be poured into a form to
set.
You really have to check the vermiculite for the kind of texture you
want. Also, there are so many other variables, that I would suggest a
bit of practice first. For example, if you mix with hot water, it sets
up faster, cold water is a retardant...dish soap is also a
retardant...and the list goes on. I am off to work so haven't more
