I teach middle school which can be ten times more immature than
elementary students when it comes to nudity. I have lots of images that
were taken from the waist up or I have cut them to be waist and above.
I do a workbook where I have used a clip art image of Rodin's The
Thinker and I colored a pair of shorts on him. I know this is
censorship in a way but it becomes such an issue they miss the real
artwork if they are looking at a "private" part.

It was a little sad (but funny) a couple of weeks ago when two female
students pulled a full length photo of David from the net. They said
they only thought the sculpture was waist up because that's all they had
also seen. The same afternoon, I had to explain Judy Chicago's Dinner
Party to another student who found it in a book. Interesting!
