I tried writing "noise" for 1 particularly noisy student in the 7th
grade today who had moved his seat without permission so he could sit
with his friends. He quieted down when I told him as soon as the word
was erased, he'd be moved back to his seat. It worked well and everyone
was happy. A real win/win
