In her message, she says <Create brochures for the school and local agencies
that cannot usually hire graphic designers...........>
How do you feel about students doing this type of work? As the director of
a small non-profit arts agency in a small city - I would welcome the
opportunity to work with students to design our gallery show cards, event
posters and flyers, an artists' directory, etc. We would make a donation to
the school's art department (heck, we pay someone now anyway - I'd feel
better if it went to some use at the school) (and no, it isn't taking work
from a professional artist - our current typesetter has a full-time design
job with a newspaper and does our work when she finds the time).
wouldn't want to work with agencies in this fashion. Is that just my
perception? Or is there truth to it? Thoughts, opinions, concerns,
problems.....
Thanks in advance!!!
