Hi everyone,

Has anyone ever done a lesson for elementary grades on Michael Naranjo, the
blind sculpture? And what other contemporary American Indian artists do you
use? Any good videos that you know of (short- my kids have a VERY limited
attention span) about American Indian art?

About the school art exhibits, I also keep all the portfolios in the room
until the end of our eight week session. That way if they are finished
early with the project for the day they can go back and work on the
previous work. At the end of the session I have them go back and find their
favorite work to display. That also shows me what was, to them, the most
successfully understood lesson. And I can't think of anything worse than to
have work that one is Not proud of on display.
