Rob,
Have you ever used close-captioned videos to teach reading.
<A HREF="http://www.globalstage.net/">Globalstage</A> has recently started to
close caption our series of professional theatre tapes. All of
our productions are taped by the BBC and performed in English by
internationally acclaimed professional theatre companies. Titles include the
classics: FRANKENSTEIN, PINOCCHIO, CYRANO, and FAR FROM THE MADDING CROWD; and
our most recent premier PLAYING FROM THE HEART--the childhood story of
hearing-impaired percussionist Evelyn Glennie.
