Hi--I also need some help with technology. We just got a new PC in the art
room, mostly for students who need to look something up quickly, when we do
our report card comments, for research for teachers and students, anything
else a computer is good for...etc.....Low and behold the technology head came
in yesterday with a new "scanner" to give us as well! We have nooooo idea how
this could be used in our classroom. ( I am just mastering how to use the
computer with any skill. ) He still needs to set it up and show us how to use
it, but I would love to hear from anyone out there some practical uses in the
classroom. He mentioned that I can scan in student work to put on our school
website which sounds pretty exciting. As far as other classroom use I'm
pretty much in the dark. Hopefully he will spend some time with me to show me
some uses, but it would be great to have some ideas and questions to ask him.
Anyone out there with info---I would love to hear from you. Thanks in
advance! DeDe from NJ
