I need help with technology!!!! As director of a summer art academy, I =
was planning to equip our school with a slide projector and slide set so =
instructors would include some art history and criticism into their =
classes this year. One of our board members suggested investing in a =
lap top, processor and projector with CD ROMs instead. Since we are in =
Hawaii, she felt slides would get moldy and that the CDs would be easier =
to use and keep track of. Additionally, I could obtain all manner of =
images from modern craft work to paintings from history on CD.
Is anyone out there using such a system in the classroom? If so, I =
would appreciate hearing what you have in the way of equipment and its =
approximate cost. Any and all information would be appreciated =
including what you feel are the best CDs. Is the system easy to =
transport from room to room?
Thanks to all who respond!!
