Love is. . .

Last week I had the opportunity to teach an art lesson to a first grade
class in Lake City, Florida. With Valentines Day coming up, I chose to do
"heart collages" based in part on Jim Dine's heart series. For those who

Following the "art" part of the lesson, the classroom teacher had the
children write their thoughts on "love" using "Love is. . ." as a stimulus.
