But a lot of kids appreciate the Rubric and will hold onto it like a life
preserver if they can. Do we really understand art if we can't visceralize
the risky quality of the choices made by the master artist?

Well said, Henry! Reminds me of a list of guidelines for creative
thinking--

Many ideas (and the last ones are more likely to be creative than the
obvious first ones)

Many kinds of ideas (even--especially!--wild ones)

Unique ideas (Only you would ever think of that!)

One idea leads to another (See how many ways you could change that
idea...)
