Need Information on Staging

My school has a new auditorium with a weighed fly system for changing sets and
backdrops. I need to order canvas for painting backdrops and get information
and materials for building framework for walls with working doors that can
fly. No one locally can help me -- I have contacted the two closest colleges
and exhausted my short list of dramatic folks. Do any of you have any
experience using this type of system? I know NOTHING about it. My classes are
to construct sets for the Senior Play coming up in a couple of months so I
need to order the necessities now. I have no clue what to order nor where to
order from.
Any suggestions?
