Those are called Tie-Dye Cords and are found in the Sax catalog on p. 495,
product #721 3242 for a full palette set at $9.95. Judy

Subject: Pre-dyed string for Tie Dye

I am trying to locate a source for pre-dyed string to use for tie-dyeing T-
Shirts. Apparently the string is loaded with a high concentrate of
mulitcolored dye, all you have to do is wrap and tie it around your T shirt.
Then you just dunk the shirt in water to release the dye. Anyone know where
I
can purchase this kind of string? Anyone have a recipe to make some at
home?
