Hi there!!

I am SO GRATEFUL to all of you who responded to my aid about DRAPERY,
DEPICTING MOTION, AND DRAWING/PAINTING....I received soooo many replies
that I wish I had time to reply and thank each one of you individually
(please don't be mad).... so this is my THANKS to ALL of you...I
honestly could not survive my art classes without the help from all of
you wonderful people!!

Your comments and advise opened my eyes to so many things i really had
not thought about looking for in drwg & pntg! I followed the advise of
many of you to get the Betty Edwards book to help me through this
seeing/looking mode, etc...the book is already very interesting to
me....Funny thing is, in the ARTS & Adolescent class (last semester),
somebody gave a presentation on Betty Edwards, but it did not grab me at
all!! as I have begun to read the book, the presentator did her no

...I completed my first two drawings last week and have been practicing
with pastels and acrylics...this was another challenge, actually doing
it!! Trying to get that "gradation" is tricky!! I swear I manipulated
this circle for 45 minutes, until i got my prof. attn. and said "show
me" me how! (remember...the prof. does not teach!!)

I do believe i have more than a plate full here! But with the help and
guidance of you all...I know I can do this!! Well, gotta go do that
gradation thing for my challenge truth is tomorrow!!
