Kindergarten artists love drawing each other. I have them stand on the tables
one at a time while the other students draw. I let them use one dark crayon,
12 x 18 paper, tell them to put the head at the top and the feet at the bottom
of the paper. We go over body parts, like head, neck, shoulders, arms (even
then we get arms coming out of heads). I remind them to look at how the model
is standing, whether or not they have on short or long sleeves, etc. The kids
seem to enjoy doing this, and their drawings improve drastically over a few
class periods.

In a 30 minute class, we usually have time for 2 models, sometimes three.
Depends on how much instruction I have to give. At the end of the class, I
let them add color and details and background to one of the pictures.
