Here's something that was fun that our high school ARt Honor Society group
did a few years: We did large plywood paintings of famous paintings with
the faces cut out for picture taking opportunities. One of the elementary
school art teacher's used them for her annual art fair with PTA ice scream
social and the kids and parents loved them. You project a famous piece of
art onto the plywood that has been painted with white latex paint cut out
the faces and then paint the rest of the painting with either left over
house paint (latex or acrylics) We still have them: Mona, Am Gothic,
Scream and we should do blue boy or something for this year. Have some
parents help!!!!!Also I think the elem teacher did something called pin
the ear on Vincent for a game! I think.
