I just blew up at the drama teacher for taking 9 students out of my art
classes for an unscheduled "drama" class. I've never been so steaming
mad in my life. He was a supposed friend whose now taking advantage of
me like everyone else. I said "no" to three more kids who wanted to "go
work on the play." Can you imagine? THe class was a disaster. It
completely undermined my very BEST class. I hate to do it but I may end
up screwing him to the wall by going above the principal's head. He's a
nice guy, though, and he's already on the line for being too easy going
with this teacher. So what is my alternative?????? I asked the advice of
a teacher who has clout and she said, "oh I deleted the messages you
sent me about advocating for art." Obviously it's war,l not cooperation.
God help me! I need another job or another tranquilizer.
