Breastfeeding while teaching

I read the notes about teaching art to homeschoolers, and consequently
maintaining at home mom status. While I have not gotten to nurse while
teaching, I did for about six weeks teach public elementary art with my 4m
old in a sling (w/ principals permission). I mostly had her for only
parts of the day, with a sitter down the road. Sam (the baby) and my
students loved this. She was fascinated, good, and was able to nap. I
actually think that this was so compelling that the students listened to
me more-better! The whole thing blew up with a public fuss based on
nothing made by the school board. I am now not working. But the
experience was exhilarating (exhausting). The schedule enabled me to not
have to express milk or give Sam supplementary bottles. Any other "School
moms"? TS in SC
