I reccommend the Nationa Gallery's American Art Laser Disc. You can borrow it
from them for a school year for free. All of the Louvre discs are also
excellent. I haven't see it but I imagine that the Orsay disc is also

The With Open Eyes CD-ROM is great and the Laser disc is just like the CD. The
Art of the Western World, Picture Gallery Disc (VOL. 10) has thousands of
images but the quality of many of the images could be better.

I wrote software (HyperCard for the Mac) for running a Laser Disc with a
computer. It was sold through the Sax catalog for a while, but dropped because
of lack of demand.
