The life of Riley...

Well, the sun is finally out. We are taking many walks outdoors. (I can
finally fit into my pre-Riley jeans). This rain is ridiculous. Every day it
seems more houses are being torn down for fear they will collapse in mud and
debris. (I don't know why we are so determined to want to own a house
anyway.) Riley is doing well. He has two front teeth now which excite him
very much whenever you point them out to him. Riley's favorite thing to do
is to lie naked on the floor squealing with delight. He hasn't suceeded in
rolling over yet though (although all the books say he should be doing it by
now -- what do they know); but we try everyday. He is growing by the minute
and will soon out grow his infant car seat. We aren't sure what to do since
he is big enough for his toddler seat but too young.
Dad, we apparently have a rat (or large mouse -- as I like to say) living in
our garage. I went out to buy some (large) mouse traps, but was sent back to
the store when Rick decided we couldn't actually kill the poor thing (who is
eating us out of house and home -- literally). The problem is they only sell
live traps for real mouse (not large ones!) and squirrels. Our large mouse
doesn't fit either category. Any ideas. What did you use? (By the way, I'M
not planning on letting the large mouse go once we catch it. Couldn't he
turn around and bite me?)
Riley has been taking an infant massage class every week which he loves.
(Today he only peed on me twice while giving him one.) We will send
pictures soon since he is changing every day. We miss you. Love, Toto, Rick
