A ? for New York State art teachers

Hello all... My high school is adding computer graphics to the courses
offered for next fall.
The problem is that we would like to add a whole new 5 course sequence. We
have a 5 course Fine Art sequence as well as a 5 course Technology
sequence....but we would like one that falls somewhere in between for a
more Graphics/ Technology skill based sequence.
There are obvious overlaps between the two areas...

The question is...where do I find out what courses can be used for more
than one sequence..or even if we can do this??? Now I have already tried
getting through to the State Ed Dept in Albany...this has been a joke. The
# I have is (518)474-3817 this brings me to one of those menus such as "if
you are about to throw the phone across the room...press 9..."

Any info., phone #'s, names, e-mail addresses would be GREATLY appreciated.
