I teach K-5. I did a rather larger Asian unit with 1st graders. One of the
things I showed them was a "fish print". I was not up to the fish market, nor
did I have the funds of time to order from a catalog, so-o-o--o-o--o--o I
sculpted one from plasticine (oil based modeling clay). I add some scaley
textures and started printing. The prints were fantastic.

Just an Idea.
