I made reed pens out of dried bamboo. Just copy the shape of a
pen--slit the tip in half with a razor and ream out a little hole
to trap ink. I was all excited about my pen and wanted to make them
in class but I didn't have a ready source of reed, but I discovered
that the classic popcicle sticks work just about as well--they do
lose a bit in ambience. Sid
