I've done lesson with young kids (1st-3rd grades). A nice twist I add to this
is, instead of putting their finished pictures under running water, you have a
"magic" cake pan full of water. Before they put their paper into it they have
to say the magic words/do magic motions, etc. The whole class period becomes
very mystical and very anticipated. A lot of excitement in the room if you
start from the beginning of class in this tone. Kids absolutely love it!
Definitely a classic.
