Would anyone be interested in sharing their all time favorite lesson?
If so, here's mine:(mixed media) Inflatabable art sculpture, elementary
level. I have had my kids rotate through a center where I have had them
tape together large cut open black trash bags with scotch tape that we
have taped end to end to create the width and heighth of a baby sized
whale. When all taped together we inserted a fan where its mouth was and
inflated it. Then the kids cut, designed and taped on details such as
eyes, tail, etc. from colored paper and plastic. We have made a set of
line dancing balloon Calypso dancers using balloons, and a room sized
dragon along the same methods. Ruth
