To add to the weaving thread that some of us are on....I had ordered a couple
hundred of the blue plastic, large eyed needles for this "Pocket " weaving I
have been doing. When they turned in the weavings for me to finish and give
the final grade to , I asked them to leave the needle attached. I have almost
every needle back. When my helpers and I threaded needles and attached to
easy accessible materials for them to use---that seemed to encourage trouble.
The needles and yarn were wrapped to each finger and waved and they all had to spend extra time threading their own
needles. As to punishment---I unwrapped the fingers and gave them a disgusted
look. It may have worked not a single classroom teacher has had to return
"borrowed" art goods. JOY
