Bunki & Kathy B. I am reminded of a fifth grade class that was working on
a wonderfully creative sculpture project. They were so excited they just
couldn't contain themselves and the scuptures were terrific! They were
talk, talk, talking away, BUT about what they were doing, when the
principal walked by, called me to door and told me to quiet them down. I
complied and then I got angry - with him and myself. When the kids left I
marched down to his office, walked right in and said, "My class WAS noisy,
but if you had walked in for a moment you would have seen that every single
child was on task and loving it. And I turned and walked out before he
could say a word. I don't think it had occurred to him; he never did that
again and we got along just fine, in fact, I think he respected me more for
it. Ann
