I am a pre-student teacher at Penn State. I am doing my field experience
in a third grade classroom. Today, I taught the class how to make "False
Face Masks" to simulate the ones the Iroquois Indians made to scare away
evil and sickness. They were reading about Native Americans in their
readers. The lesson took longer than expected, but it went really well. I
was very pleased with the results. The masks are wonderful!!
