E.S.
What grades do you teach those weaving projects with/to? I really enjoy
weaving with my 4th & 5th graders, but it's sometimes so tough to get
through the initial instructions...usually, I spend a lot of time re-doing
instructions for about 5-10 out of 30 kids in any given class. But, once
they get it, they're hooked and excited (then, of course, so am I!)
I've done some of the ones you mention; can you send instructions for the
"bead & bell wire" baskets and how to dye with kool-aid? I just know my
kids would be too thrilled to actually dye their own materials for weaving!
I assume it has to be pure wool or the 100%cotton type of yarn, or...does
the nylon yarn accept a dye? hmmm
