Goddess,
What do you mean by appearance? If what you mean is what you should wear or
how you are groomed. I do have an opinion. Art teachers should be as
professional in appearance as they are in their work. People can only
perceive to know what they see. If you want art to be considered important
then take it seriously enough to dress accordingly. You are a role model for
kids and the arts... don't make the arts an excuse for not dressing like a
professional educator. You will only make art more important in the eyes of
others if you present yourself well as an art teacher.
