Hello! I've been reading all suggestions regarding classroom
management and would like to offer one of my own. Read
"The First Day of School" by Harry Wong. He taught high school physics
for over twenty five years, but his ideas can be applied to all grade
levels and subjects (you just adapt them to fit your particular needs).
I have been using many of his ideas for over five
years and my classroom management has improved enormously. You may
find that you are already using some of his techniques-he's the first
to admit that what he does he's "stolen" from others. His work is
refreshing because he's been where we are-it's not theory it's real
practical information that works! If you can take a look.
