I am guessing you might be working with the Arizona Commission on the
Arts grant proposal.
We were funded several times by them to bring local artists in as
"role models". Since the "School to Work" is a popular concept at the
present time, I would suggest capitolizing on that as one part of the
justification for funding. The artists were great about explaining how
they had to know a LOT about math and communication, etc. in order to
make a living as an artist.
