Handmade Paper 3-D question

Art Ed Netters. . .

I am looking for a recipe and instructions for construction of
paper vessels made of handmade paper. During a Art Ed. Forum at Savannah
College of Art and Design (a few years ago) they had a class in which they
taught this procedure. I recall someone saying they were constructed with
vermiculite and panty hose (?). Can anyone recall this technique? I
would appreciate any information and the details in the construction.
