This is not meant to be an advertisement but is actually a very good
teacher/parent resource book with many interdisciplinary ideas. We even
had a five county workshop for academic teachers with the book.

Three years ago I wrote an arts based curriculum book for teachers. It
is published through Frank Schaffer Publications and is called Art
Across the Curriculum (FS-10149). The book is 112 pages of arts
integration projects mainly through math, science, english and social
studies.
I teach middle school (13 years) in Charlotte county Florida where I was
lucky enough to have academic teacher willing to try my ideas with their
classes. Each project has been tested with middle school children and
there is even a section on grading approaches. Many of the teachers,
particularly the gifted program, use the book regularly. Book is fully
reproducible for your classroom.
