Marie -
There is some difference between gallery teachers and a more general
education curator position. Gallery teachers would concentrate
specifically on teaching in the galleries. A Museum Educators
positions might also include docent training, development of tours
for adults and children, public programming, evaluation of those
programs, grant writing etc.
The second position would probably require a degree in museum
education, while a gallery teacher would not.
