I'm an undergrad in art ed, and one of my courses involves creating a
lesson plan and teaching it to students in a Saturday class. The class
I'll be teaching is grades 1-3, and I had planned to do a lesson on
plaster masks, decorated like Egyption burial masks. I had done this
lesson when I was in elementary school, but I can't remember all the
details. My question is does anyone have a suggestion on how to create an
Egyption head piece and have it connect to the masks. I had planned to
use black yarn as hair, and have the students braid it with beads and
attach it to the mask. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.
