Thanks to all those who have responded on this topic. San D said that her
head is spinning, mine too. As I thought about recent communications and
their implications for art curriculum I particularly liked Terry's tentative
answers to Jan's important questions; Nancy's useful reminder about
pluralism in the form of Ernest Boyer's "Human Commonalities;" and Diane's
comments about popular culture. I think that they're fairly consistent with
CELEBRATING PLURALISM. If you haven't seen the book, take a look at the
