Amir's First Nations unit sounded exceptional, something for all of us to
strive for! Look at what it incorporated (organizationally): local First
Nation artist, several visits to a local gallery, community and business
involvement and support, a student exhibit and catalog, a committed
like-minded classroom teacher, lots of research and planning and plain old
hard work. Amir may have a more ideal situation than most of us, but he is
not in an isolated artist's garret!
