The National Art Education Association (publication sales 1-800-299-8321) has
two publications which should be of help:
Design Standards for School Art Facilities, 1993 $14.00, member price $6.00,
contains comprehensive planning information for elementary, middle and high
school art facilities.
Opportunity-to-Learn Standards for Arts Education, $15.00, $12.00 member
price, contains recommendations on design and layout of K-12 art facilities,
including space, storage, sinks, display, lighting, safety and much more.
