A couple of thoughts. First, how big is your site (e.g. # of pages, & # of
Mb)? Second, have you considered having mirrors? That is, perhaps your
internet provider will let you keep a home page up that says, "Click here for
our West Coast mirror, click here for our Central States mirror, click here
for our East Coast mirror, click here for our International mirror." If you
could find 4 servers that will host your site, then the number of hits would
be spread around and not overload one server. It wouldn't actually matter
where the servers were of course. What do you think?
