Hi, I am Alberta Lewis. I am one of the students from Southwest Texas that have
been asking some many questions. I am a future art teacher and like the rest of
the Southwest Texas group, I have alot of question about teaching art. Here is
just one of many quetion: What are some important reason to teach art history
from a multicultural perspective? This question is important to me because
when I was in school I was only taught about artist and art from paris. Until
college the only women artist I know about was Mary Casset, I did know of any
Afro-American artist,German Artist, Chinese Artist or American Artist. I think
it is important for a child to know about great artist or people of all race
