Teri: You are right about there being a real need for a comprehensive guide for
graphics, multimedia and video production labs. I've thought about this myself,
but the technology changes so rapidly anything I research would be obsolite in
six months. That's why I've become more interested in curriculum: the important
concepts become ADAPTABLE to the changing technology.
Sarah Ann Bowler has been dealing with objective information about schools and
computer graphics for her UNM projects for quite a while - and has just logged
on to artsednet (I'm in northern NM myself and have met her). Perhaps you'd
like to start a discussion with her. Personally, all I have are anecdotes about
keeping things running with bandaids and paperclips.
