As a result of an earlier message from some Illinois college students
concerning digital images, photography, and art, we tried to exchange
digital images, to no avail. Does anyone have advice on what type of format
(JPEG, PICT, TIFF, etc.) or procedure is necessary to do this? Is it
possible? My Macintosh crashed when I tried to open attached files of
images that were sent to me. (They were produced on a PC). Also, it took 20
minutes to download the message from my Internet server because the file
was so large, so images should probably be compressed. So if someone out
there knows how to do this, please post some directions. Thanks.
