It's very hard to do a "from the hip" diagnosis, but I can at least try
to provide some illumination (and probably create more questions than
there are already!).

By "wouldn't let you in", what do you mean? Are you getting the
infamous "Permission Denied" error? Or does it just time out?
You are saying "getting hung up on", a telephone term, which leads me
to think that there could be a problem with a dial-up program (Trumpet
Winsock, for example) or Internet service provider.

We have noticed that some recent versions of the Netscape 2.0 beta
program seemed to crash upon encountering certain pages of ours.
It was very inconsistent, leading me to believe that the problem
wasn't with the html code, but possibly an internal Netscape memory
management problem. It hasn't happened lately.

Regardless, we will do some testing to make sure that things are okay
on this end with the ArtsEdNet pages.
