There is a great little booklet calll LOOP scupture guide available through
the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs, 78E Wshington St, Chicago IL
60602 which provides black and white photos and good background info
about the public sculpture in chicago. I will give you a small sample .

"The Picasso" has become to Chicago what the Eiffel Tower is to
Paris....It was the first monumental modern sculpture to be placedin the
Loop and set the pace for other important works in the downtown area.
It is in the Dailey Civic Center Plaza, fabricated of Cor-Ten steel, 50 feet
high ,. The design was donated by the artist .
