The College Board AP Fellows Program is currently accepting applications. This program awards scholarships to secondary school teachers who will teach AP courses in schools that serve economically disadvantaged students and/or traditionally underrepresented students of color. Recipients will be offered a scholarship of $1,000 to attend a College Board-endorsed AP Summer Institute (APSI) during the summer of 2009. The scholarships assist teachers with the costs (e.g. registration fees and travel expenses) of attending a week-long AP Summer Institute for professional development. Please note: College Board AP Fellows scholarships cannot be used to attend the AP Annual Conference, to participate in one- or two-day workshops, or to purchase classroom materials.
